this could have been edited down by a hundred pages

the blurb for this book is very misleading

i appreciate how close the narration is - feels like talking to a friend buttttttt it’s also kind of a curse because it dulls the pacing by all the frivolous description

i’ve disassociated guys - this isn’t 2025 anymore to me - the world in this book is a synth 80’s dystopian future that’s in the same vein as blade runner. night rain pelting dirty neon signs

oh dear god - i am nearly the same age as richard (he was born in 1997, me in 1998, and this is set in 2025 💀)
