I want to know how Anna died and what killed Cas's father and really just all sorts of things. So many questions that I really hope I won't have to wait for the sequel to answer.

This book has some awesome one liners and pop culture references but anyway, two people have died already and I'm not even half done. This shit is bananas b-a-n-a-n-a-s.

Part of me doesn't like that a Cas treated the telepathic kid Thomas like that but I also get that in his line of work it might not be the best thing to go out and make friends, not when you're moving as much as he seems to. And I really, really want to learn more about Anna.

Random note: I don't read as fast as I used to. Only managed to down 40 pages in 30 minutes...

Another random note: I actually like Cas' full name. It's a strong name that means something but the shortened version is attractive as well.

Now I've never read this sort of book before. It's synopsis was intriguing and from the 40 pages I've downed I can definitely say that it's piqued my curiosity.

Just from reading the prologue I'm intrigued. Why does he have to kill the girls to (excuse my corniness) make it rain? Also, I wasn't immediately certain there was any sort of magical element to the book until Shahrzad's father tried making the flower bloom.

Already curious to see how things pan out.
