Finally, making some progress. I feel like this book does a LOT of world building vs action.

Very dark. Lots of names and terms thrown around. I feel this is a book I would have to read a second time to understand what is going on!

Eldas is basically an elf version of Mr. Darcy! So swoon worthy!

Darn it, I’m starting to like Warner now…

Back and forth, back and forth! This book is giving me whiplash! Why do you want us to like Warner?!? Why do you want us to hate Adam? It makes no sense after all the character development in the first book!

This book seems to focus more on Warner…

Not sure if I’m going to like this series… not really my cup of tea.

I’m enjoying this book way more than the first book. The dialogue between Warner and his dad was sorta priceless at times.

I hate when they push away one love interest, just to make room for another. The second option is NEVER better than the first option!

I forgot it was a superhero book! Ugh… it feels like someone took the X-Men and a bunch of other superhero movies and mashed them together! Definitely think they spent way to long on the beginning of the book and not enough time on the superhero aspect of the book. Hopefully we get more answers in the next book.

This book is kinda hard to get through. I’m not quite familiar with all the terms they are using for the fanfic community. I’ll keep reading since the love interests are getting interesting.
