Brooke is one of my favorite characters. I hope he gets what he wants. Hugh needs to start working towards what he wants in a more civil manner. Nora and Dorothy are both sweet characters, they deserve a happy ending. Louis... well, he "knew he was right" (heavy sarcasm). Can't wait to start volume 2!

Louis is such a sad character. Emily is so stubborn! So far my favorite line is "It was a regret to him that the days of dueling were over, so that he could not shoot the man." ~Chapter 19

Erik has truly learned to walk in his fathers foot steps. I can't believe all the stuff that happened between Vic and Nang, they are definitely the best non-couple/couple in this book. :) Cant' wait for the book about Vic to come out. It will be epic!

Vic and Nang!!!

Erik is so full of surprises and at times so is Iya. Chapter 28 had me freaking out for a bit. These past couple of chapters really lets you know what Erik wants in life.

Elite is such a jerk! I want to like his character, but I can't. The dynamics between Erik and Iya are very interesting. Hal is always a great character.

R cares so much about Julie, you just feel for him!

So far this book goes way more in depth than the movie, which usually happens. This really lets readers to get to know the character R and his thoughts. Also there are some twists in the book, that are definitely not in the movie.

My heart really got going during a few scenes. Hal is my new favorite character for sure. And Vic is amazing as everyone knows.

I'm starting to like this Hal character a whole lot. Hope he sticks around. ☺️

Things are starting to get intense, what will happen next will Annelise?

Vic has a way with Nang... always bothering her.

Elith is an interesting character, I go back and forth with liking him. Hopefully we get more back story on him to make sense of his motivates. Chapter 19 is a real page turner.

I like the romance between characters. :)
