I’m torn between 2 thoughts. This is one of the better Sadenverse books I’ve read lately. The themes explored and internal monologues are worthwhile and important buuuuuut I’m also feeling that I just don’t buy into Blake weirdly going from method acting to thinking he’s in love. It’s almost too instalove w/o feeling real to me as a reader.

The last 10 notes/highlights I have in this book all pretty much say what a fucking idiot Bliss is or that I hate Thorpe. Putting her on my dnr list -_-

I hate Bliss. I started to like her, but now with this new turn of events I hate her so much. You are a freaking idiot Bliss. If this doesn't resolve itself in the next few pages I'm going to swear off Thorpe forever. Life is too short for bad plots.

There is no way, and I mean NO WAY in hell the voice of the narrator could match that amazing guy on the cover. No disrespect to Mr Russo but mob boss he is not. Nerdy HS teacher? Yes. Dentist? Yes. Someone’s dorky dad? Yes. Russian mob boss? Hells to the Nos.

Dear sweet baby smutty jeebus. Please let the audiobook be over soon. I hate this ladies voice with the heat of a hundred suns. It shakes like an elderly woman's when she gets any emotion. It ruins everything. ERRYTHING.

Ok so let me get this straight. It was OK for her to be a bitch before she knew Caleb was a previous player. But once she finds out hes a player with an injury that prevents him from playing *then* she feels bad? FU Rachel. All these guys deserve better.

Why is Rachel super respectful and nice to the coworker who’s a dick to her but then a total ass to Caleb? Why are FMCs written so badly. It will be a miracle if I finish this audiobook.

Omg this audiobook is a million years long. I hope it’s worth it. Too bad I’m not one of those crazy people who can listen on like 2.0 speed. I barely can handle 1.10 😂😭🥴

You know it’s going to be good when the author/narrator have you choking at 2%. I made the unfortunate mistake of taking a big swig of sweet tea at a particularly funny and well delivered line. My coworkers thought I was dying.

I LOVE when an author can do legal thriller right. Maks is ahhhhhmaaaazing.
