Oh my freaking god I hate Liza so much. This bump in the road better be resolved quickly. I hate this crap. :(

This is driving me batty! They make a huge deal about the escort being blonde and blue eyed. That is *not* what the cover model looks like 😑 and it’s not the MC either as he has blue eyes as well. And black hair. I’m so distracted by this important detail.

Making him dateable is such an overused trope … buuut… like fake relationship trope I always fall for it. Loving the awkwardness it provides.

Iknow I’m reading this out of order in the Sadenverse but I accidentally checked it out through our library system before I realized where it sat in the reading order and now feel like I kinda have to read it. Not impressed so far…

Okay. I hated these two in the other book but I’m finding I dislike them less now. Maybe. Probably. We’ll see…

I made the stupid error of reading the ending and now I hate her and I have no will to live never mind finishing the book 😑

I’m least excited about this pairing and book. Also have read some bad reviews that echo my sentiments any the characters. They were really unlikeable in the main series so I’m going in with a negative view already..

Well, shit. I did NOT expect to like this book as much as I am. I’ve been reading in bed the last hour and a half unable to focus on getting shit done on my day off bc this slow burn, sweet, amazingly well written book is *killing* me. If only a mom could just…. read allll day 😭💙

I know zilch about baseball. I’ve only ever seen one game in my entire life. My vocabulary consists of zero baseball terminology. I feel like this book would mean more to me if I understood the sport on even the most basic level…

I’m only 20% done and they haven’t even left the wedding yet. I’m trying so hard not to laugh and wake my husband up as I listen to this audio. It’s freaking hilarious.

Ugh… I felt like book 2 gave me a break from some of the over the top poetic inner voice of Juliette which makes me want to gag. But book 3 is back with a vengeance. I would love this story if not for the writing style the author uses to speak for Juliette 😒

Every time the narrator gives a slow “wwwhat? Huh?” Or “wait, what?” It reminds me of Kristen Stewart’s acting 🙄 Also, how is this character this dumb?

The narrator for Tristan is so dryyyyy… every once in a while he’s emotive but for the most of the book so far I’m like 😴 Alex’s narrator is so much better

90% finished and I’m unhappy as hell. This is super fucking depressing.

Chapter 13- I’m sorry, what drivel did he just say to her about her being afraid of winter? Wtf even am I listening to.. 🙄

Only two chapters in and I’m already regretting this decision.

Wtf is wrong with this narrator. Her levels are all over the place. She’s yelling, she’s too quiet. She’s also very difficult to tell the voices apart or to tell when someone is thinking vs taking out loud. This book is way too popular to have a narrator like this.

For the love of god publisher & author- redo this with a better narrator now that this book is so insanely popular.

I kind of hate Seph. Seriously. She gets kidnapped, her sister saves her, and she's just a whiny brat in return.

I can't help but wonder why this book is so long. It's not that I don't like it... it's just... LONG. Could it have lost 100 pages and still be likeable?

Also, why do I feel like she "spun the wheel on romance tropes" and then went "HELL WITH IT!" and threw them all in. Like. Seriously.

This book is a slog. But I’ve come this far….
