This book needs only 1 narrator. They’re both good but in distinctly different ways. It’s jarring to go back and forth between the different voice styles for the characters. Either duet narration or picking just one would’ve made this book superior.

Filipe (Philippe?) You sir can go suck a duck. But fr, in all my years of rom reading this is the first time an author I’ve read has done this really real thing- where a previous sexual partner makes fun of the mc for doing something they deem “nasty” or gross or stupid or any other kink/sex shaming thing you can think of. Why hasn’t that been written more?! I hope they explore that past hurt more.

After a lackluster book two in this series I debated going back for book 1. Good to know that Mated by Mistake apparently is a trope I like. The banter is hilarious. An unserious "shut up and f me" type bossy Jared finds himself mated to Nathan and so far I . Am. Here. For. It.

I think we're supposed to eventually see them both "differently" over the course of the story and it will explain them being assholes. But right now they are both *SO* unlikeable it's hard to enjoy anything about this story. I can't imagine changing my mind no matter what is unveiled. At this point it's a Fail for me.
