I’m glad that I’m rereading this, because the first time I missed several allusions to other works/concepts that I’ve learned about in the years since my first read of the novel. I also read it like other novels at the time, only stopping in between chapters; these chapters are extremely long so I was rushing through them to pause at the end. And I’m enjoying the hell out of it!
