ugh, i loved the first two books in this series and i have trust in sarah adams but my gosh i did not realize this would also be enemies to lovers/academic rivals kinda deal and I am just so eternally bored with the genre. in ms. swifts words to you I can admit that I'm just too soft for all of this. gimme some friends to lovers cute romance for once, i need a break from bickering.

I'm sorry I have been MIA for the last two weeks. I started at a new job and I'm getting used to a whole new routine and life and it's been nerve-racking but also super exciting!! I'm getting back to reading again though and it feels good to be back ♡ Once I tackle my currently-reading pile I will move on to Iron Flame and Onyx Storm! :)

i'm enjoying this book so much! the premise is super interesting and i love the creepy, misty, slowly making you insane haunted house atmosphere it has!! our fmc is badass and the book is simultaneously exploring the state of an old post-colonialist mining town?? AHHH can't wait to finish this one.

I am so incredibly tired of reading them fight about if they should or should not be involved. what exactly was the point of the whole ass series if they just sit on their ass doing nothing? the whole premise is already unbelievable so may as well let us have our fin with it 😭
