There were a myriad of ways how Japanese Americans proved their loyalty to the United States after the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941...there were even Issei men committing suicide due to the shame of Pearl Harbor.

Reading about racist policies implemented by America in the early 1900s against first-generation Asian Americans is just...heartbreaking...
