Saw the preview on Netflix and noticed it was a book. So we’re giving it a go.

Im at a point in this book where I just can’t see how the author is going to neatly end this story.

Usually, love triangles don’t bother me. But this one is giving me anxiety. I don’t like this one at all. And that might be the authors intention. Because Emma is so confused that she wants the reader to feel just as confused. If so, job well done.

This is pretty far from my typical read. And I have zero interest in the gaming world. But my two boys are obsessed so I though I may glean some insight.

At times it’s a fast read. Other times it’s extremely slow. But the ebb and flow is quite nice. I like the story telling.

Right now I’m not mad I’m reading it- but I’m also not sure if I’d recommend it to anyone either.

This is not my typical read. But I am very much enjoying it.

Ok. I’m losing interest. If the author doesn’t wrap this up in a neat little bow I’m giving 3 stars at most.
My hopes are not high.

Ok. Im hooked. I have many theories and I’m hoping not one of them is right. It’s a twisty one.

I’m intrigued but getting annoyed that I haven’t had my assumptions about the twist verified yet. There’s a lot of backstory set up happening.

Honestly… I could listen to Matthew McConaughey all day long every day!! Everyone says to listen to the Audiobook and I agree.

I’m very much enjoying it so far.

Half way through chapter three and I’m really enjoying the sense of humor. I keep chuckling to myself. I know something bad happens. But I have high hopes for this one.

It’s been awhile since I’ve read any sort of memoirs. And while I’m not someone who follows celebrities- I do fall asleep to Gilmore Girls every night and have seen each episode approximately 1,209,306 times.
This one has been on the shelf for awhile/ so here it goes.

The description got me with Pretty Woman meets The Bridgertons. The Bridgerton series is a favorite (books > show).

I just need something smutty - it’s my 8th book in a week.

We’re just a bit in and a rape scene. Sometimes I wish these scenes came with a trigger warning- maybe it did and I didn’t see. Not so I don’t read the book, rather so I can be mentally ready to know I’m going to have a lot of feelings come up.

I’m fully invested now.
The tone is heavy, but the bits of humor are great!

I can’t remember why I added this book into my TBR pile. And honestly I’m kind of regretting it. It’s a slow start and I’m not really sure what the storyline is.
