it’s slowly redeeming itself.

Mehhhh. Idk. It’s kind of dragging. I’m still enjoying it, but it’s like the author is purposefully withholding info && as a reader, that’s annoying. Halfway through the second book I shouldn’t still be confused on the plot.

I’m enjoying the story. The slow burn is a bit YA maybe? But time will tell. I have a hunch I’ll love this series by the end.

I keep seeing this one pop up && it was on Hoopla so figured why not. My expectations are extremely low because im coming off that Reckless high.

Between finishing Leather & Lark and starting this… I am riding a book high like no other. Oh Kai, I missed you.

I had to go back and relisten to the last 10 chapters of Powerless, just to get my head back in the game. I find when I read a finished series start to finish I love each book so much. But when there’s a lull between books something is ruined && I refuse to have this series ruined…. Already thoroughly enjoying myself.

Seth’s character arc has been SO fun. I really didn’t care for him much- but man I loveeeee him.

Still loving this series. So much. Idk who’s going to die- someone we love always dies. And man- I have a feeling it will gut me.

Everything is 💩 but there are a few storylines that are great right now. Seth’s really growing on me && his little moon chapter (online) made me cackle and love him more.

Listen. Idc what you’re reading right now. STOP and start this series immediately…
