The story starts to go into the past, intermittent with the present bank robbery happening.

Very fast paced, everything is happening across the span of a few minutes while the characters are introduced through the action of a bank robbery. It’s different and unique style. Combination of narrative and script/phone calls.

I’m enjoying this concise yet surprising memoir of Hunter. Clearly a political defense to Trumps criticisms, I’m not sure we need as much of that, but hai overall accomplishments juxtaposed to his journey of addiction, grief and recovery is troubling and appreciated. It puts a new face on the fact that addiction sees no race, privilege or socioeconomic status.

It was obvious that Cassie never really existed. It is also really upsetting, but it’s not hitting me the way it should, it should destroy me, but I’m more annoyed and eye rolling. Atlas wouldn’t have named his restaurant in her honor and not tell her the truth after loving her after all of those years.

Lily’s circle is SO small that she can only like Atlas? Of course, the abuse justifications are very realistic as well as the behavior, and I get that this is for tension building and possibly a road back to Atlas, but she fought so hard to stay away from Atlas. It’s also shocking to me that she would have married him after just a few months given the red flags and her past.

It’s a good thing the characters like Alyssa are growing on me because the circumstances are all unrealistic. Random wealthy girl walks in to volunteer for a future flower shop happens to be sister of a guy she met once. And
