I love that the story is also told from Marcellus’ perspective and that there’s a parallel across both of these seniors…as a reader I sense the parallel and the potential foreshadowing as the story unfolds toward the end of their lives.

Immediately in love with the authors charming voice and Marcellus and Tova. Tova treats each aquarium animal…and the description of the eels not being her cup of tea yet she nods and smiles to them anyways yet they couldn’t smile back if they wanted to…with a face like that….this voice is so endearing and I love the Tova is a senior.

Some of the scenes are even less believable than butcher and blackbird—I approach it with a suspended sense of disbelief, yet the epoxy scene makes no sense—and the forced fake marriage is off kilter. It’s a reach. B&B was better so far.
