Men are terrifying.

Good read for the day. I don't think I could resist the dogs either, even with the creepy descriptions and odd intentions.

I desire to sink my teeth into something good for the autumn season. This feels right to read.

I've spent all day reading, and that feels good. I can't put down the book even when I read uncomfortable portions. It feels nice to feel angry with someone. It feels nice to weep with someone.

Why is it so common for girls to settle for uncomfortable sex from shitty men

Picking this back up again because I wanted to read but I'm in the mood for something easy and not so hard on my heart... Which says a lot about my bookshelf if this is the fix I ended up on.

I feel a real need to memorize the golden tibits of this book. Shit feels like ammo at this point.

I can't differentiate whether I genuinely enjoy the writing in this or I just really love the subject matter presented so far. Most likely both. I should say with great possibility that it's both. It makes me a little excited, a bit hopeful.

It's nice to give the girlies toilet language and obscurities, though I don't fancy it *that* much.

The process Anita goes through to keep Raine is psychotic. It continues to be so gross, but I find it endearing. That uneasy but familiar comfort.

I'm in a terrible headspace for this book. I make room for this book to feed me anxiety.

I'm in love with the prose, though I'm astonished that I can read about a girl shitting through a fence and think, y'know what that was terrible but it was written so well, I don't think I can hate it.

I had a real, particular want to put this book down, out of just feeling uncomfortable. Is it the right time to read a book like this?? There usually isn't another time for me because, like anyone else, I just get another book then this would get backlogged again. And again and again.

So, I'm trying to finish. The initial annoyance of the book is gone, but I'm not over the moon about anything right now.

I read a couple of more pages for the night, and I really just want it to end.

I dread returning to attempt to read this book. I'm determined to find parts that I'll enjoy.

Unfortunate. This is killing my mood to read.
