how I'm able to function to read through this is a mystery at this point ; where did all this energy come from ; also anyways anywho this book isn't hitting the way I wanted it to

I've given up trying to find an emotional connection to the book so I'm annotating practically everything in pencil. Without it, this would kind of be a drag.

One of the only books not inside a box lol so far this is good for dates but runs flat to me. Like it keeps sensitive information that's supposed to trouble me at a distance. I know these stories are difficult to swallow but here they pale in comparison to other reads/viewings.

once I officially move into my new apartment, I will get back to dedicating my time to reading. and you bet your ass I will be attempting at annotating my books!!!

I feel so pathetically ignorant to understand 90% of what I'm reading.

I went from going days without thinking of this book to quietly fuming and rummaging through my mind for peace to alleviate the hurt I feel

maybe satire isn't the best genre for me because it always goes over my head or doesn't land right

My body is aching but I'm so determined to finish this up

a book given to me by my co-worker :) ! can't wait to update her as I read through this
