CHAPTER 44 😭 OMG

A long read but so good! Feels like I’m in a movie. Seeing Violet progress is exciting. Super interested to see what happens when the dragons are separated with Riorsons’ new assignment

I immediately had to grab the next book. Loved being able to dive right back in

This is by my favorite author so I really wanted to read. The writing is sooo good as usual but it’s scary af to me so idk if I will be able to finish.

The raccoon story had me in tearsssss 😂

May whatever this is find me immediately.

It’s crazy how we attract the same trauma our parents once inflicted.

The end is really going to make or break this book.

I loved it at first but it has quickly become extremely repetitive.

“Even working on the dead, with their faces covered, their names a mystery - you find that their humanity pops up at you. In opening my cadavers stomach, I found two undigested morphine pills. Meaning that he had died in pain. Perhaps alone and fumbling with the cap of the pill bottle.”

The book is packed with so many good memories and quotes. A lot of food for thought.

Very cute so far. A simple comfort read but sooo cute and easy to follow.

Extremely well written. The author’s tone is extremely mature and I’m eager to learn more about these women and the lives they have lived. It’s so mysterious.

Young adult romance. Not my fave genre but it’s okay. So far I’m not finding the hype behind it. A lil cliche tbh.

Just eager to understand what’s going on in Alicia’s mind. The storyline does get surprisingly spicy at times which I didn’t expect.

Honestly, it does give such an unfiltered view on a life many don’t know much about but love to throw assumptions and disapproval towards. While i cannot relate, I am able to empathize with this person on a human level.

I like that they chose to narrate their own story. I think it really gives the audio version the most authentic feel.

It almost feels like a long-LGBTQ+ version of Gossip Girls.

I’m not sure I understand it but I want to finish for sure.

I am enjoying this more than Never Lie tbh. Sometimes I get frustrated with Frieda and her repetitive nature in giving every single detail in multiple perspectives from each character BUT the storyline is good. Hard to believe I’m only halfway through because it feels like we could be wrapping things up at this point

The storyline is a little slow. Seems to get slower down the line and the stay in the mansion is very detailed. Almost too detailed. Started as a 3 star read but I think we’d down to two.
