I’m not enjoying this as much as the first book.
1. I miss the multiple POV characters. It’s all from Erin’s POV and she’s not as like-able.
2. Why does Farnsworth use “Pet” constantly all of a sudden? Did she watch a Vera marathon?
3. I miss the “posh talk” that Erin and Farnsworth did in the first book.
4. Not as many Austen quotes.
Doesn’t feel as “British” as the first book…

Listening to the audiobook and the reader sounds waaaayyy toooo ooooolllldddd for Stephanie Plum.

The reader for the audiobook is horrible. Pixie sounds like she’s 20 and most of the dialogue sounds stiff and formal. “How. was. your. day. today?” “Fine. Thank. you.”
