An interesting study of how a person's principles and beliefs betray him or her. It seems that many Americans lead tragic lives due to their beliefs since the do not understand who the actual enemy is.

I've read the first two chapters and it's quite good. I find it amazing how logically incoherent and self-destructive some Americans are in their stubborn allegiance to a political ideology instead of treating politics as practical. The people interviewed are quite interesting in this respect.

After a major assassination, the plot slows and it is difficult to proceed. A definite motivation for revenge by One Esk also makes the reading less interesting.

Good, but still another story about the aristocratic hatred of meritocracy.

Incredibly good. The notion that we are simply manifestations of a universal mind reminds me of Borges.

Ne of the most interesting sci-fi novels I've read. What is sad is that tens of thousands of years in the future we have not changed much.
