Up to chp 65: lots went on but manon & the witches finally met Aelin and her court. Intense encounter but super thrilling. Manon hates Aelin for killing Baba Yellowlegs but she owes Aelin a life debt for saving her life. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Rowan got hurt and couldn’t heal as well but he recovered well. Lorcan is a pain but he’s a solider. Elide is in trouble but nobody knows.

Up to chapter 44: mega twist and whiplash about Arobynn trying to make Aelin a puppet. There’s a lot of scheming and plans not talked about to string you along. The witches in Morath have discovered hideous things about the creatures their yellowlegs are producing. It’s all gross but very intriguing. Lots of good dialogue and action.

Up to chapter 33: lots of bad things happening in Morath. Were introduced to Elide who is human with witch blood. And there’s some dark stuff going on, like combined Valg with Yellowleg witches. Not great but idk why this is happening. Aelin rescues Aedion and they reunite so that is sweet. And then Rowan comes back by chapter 28 or so. Intense interaction between him and Aedion but i think it’ll be ok.

Up to chapter 20: action packed with Aelin retrieving her cousin. Seems almost impossible but she did it. Lysandra has become a good friend. Florine and her dance crew helped cause a distraction. Dorian seems gone to Aelin and almost try to kill him. Chaol is not happy about it but I’m kind of glad she didn’t kill him.

Up to chapter 10: Chaol seems like he still doesn’t understand everything and is very defensive. Aelin still needs to control her temper but she’s getting there. We’re introduced to Lysandra, a person of Aelin’s past. It’s an interesting encounter and it seems genuine that Lysandra wants to build trust again. Also, we get back to Manon’s POV. It’s pretty boring in Morath and full of Valg or dead ppl.

Up to chapter 6 - interesting arrival of Aelin in Rifthold. Arobynn’s introduction into the main book series is very interesting and alluring. Not sure of what I think of it yet.
