Lots of things happened. Chapter 89-90 just destroys you

Up to chp 73:
- Lorcan lives and Elide forgives him. I truly want to see more of them but idk if we’d get it
- Manon asks Dorian to not leave for Morath and they have a beautiful night. I sobbed because he ended up leaving her. I’m so distraught
- Manon makes a call for all Crochan’s to go to war for Terrasen
- Dorain and Maeve??? Wtfff

Up to Chp 62
- battle is so intense at Anielle ugh I was hooked on all those pages
- freaking Lorcan wanting to die from self pity ugh but Elide’s rescue is everything. She’s just too beautiful and so brave
- Aelin releasing 3 months of fire?? Dear god that was so good. Too bad it wasn’t used on Maeve
- Manon is now the Queen of Witchessss
- her grandma is a POS. I hope she dies

Updates up to chp 49:
- Alein is mega struggling with what is real vs fake. Breaks my heart. I’m glad her and Rowan had a one on one and talked things out
- Lorcan is now blood sworn to Alein??? Wild
- Dorian is freaking reckless but I love it. Glad he’s mastering shifting
- Freaking ironteeth witches are stubborn but Manon has come around. Also glad Crochan’s are slowly accepting her

Chapters so far:
- battles on the main continent are increasing and Aedion is growing restless. I love how Nox is back and allied himself with Lysandra
- Aedion needs to chill. Yelling at Lysandra is not cool. She’s being so helpful
- I love how Dorian is learning to shape shift. Interesting how it is limited by his own self
- plan to rescue Aelin is crazy but there’s so much dedication ahhh

thoughts:
- Loved the scene where Alein saw her mom & her strength. if lorcan and Rowan could feel her strength, how couldn’t Maeve?
- everything about Manon, witches and Dorian is awesome. Dorian is trying to understand his power better. Wild stuff!
- Chaol’s dad is still annoying
- Rowan & gang trick on Maeve is genius. Idk if it’ll work tho

Initial impressions and summary:
- Aedion’s plot is super battle filled. Not as interesting but he’s mad at Lysandra ugh
- Rowan seems helpless without Aelin but determined to get her back.
- Aelin is being torn apart in torture and it’s breaking me. She doesn’t think Rowan will rescue her UGH
- YRENE IS PREGNANANT
- lorcan isn’t really that bad?? Unsure right now
