Solid book so far. Everything we do shapes us to look like Christ or the world, so what am I doing to be shaped into Christ? It’s good work to put in. Also, he’s kinda a social Trinitarian but oh well can’t be perfect

School has started. Good book so far

Still interesting, Tibbs seems to overstate some things in order to convince the reader of Eastern Orthodoxy. Stating that the Protestant OT didn’t come about until the 5th-10th century, and that “all the early Christians” had the apocryphal books as scripture seems like an oversimplification. She’s smart, but still hasn’t got me yet.

The Eucharist is a sacrifice only as far as it is participating in the once for all sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Time is bent in the Eucharist meal so that we share in that initial sacrifice and do not make a new one. Mind blown

Solid. Movies are very different so I feel like I am experiencing the LOTR for the first time again

Angels are sanctified by the Holy Spirit? Isn’t sanctification part of salvation, which angels are not a part of? Or are they, bc all creation will be saved??
