Great, and an absolute nothing of a climax too.

This chapter was completely useless.

Know why people loved to hate Littlefinger? We knew his motivations, we knew his tools, and when he made a move, it was actually an interesting one.
Also we had the context of the world, characters, and their relationships that there were actual stakes. I haven't read ASoIaF in like 5 or 6 years but I still remember more of the personality of King's Landing than I do of this city I've been reading about for 2 days

Also zero information on why this character, who is clearly meant to be a major antagonist, is doing any of the things she is doing. Also, her brilliant political maneuvers that "out played" Naranpa have consisted of 1) telling the servants "no, she changed her mind" and 2) convincing people, off-screen, to vote against her.

I do not know why this character is called a blasphemer. Again, hundreds of pages spent with a character who is the head of a religion, absolutely zero information about that religion.

Oh good, a description of witchcraft, a thing that has happened on page ONCE and didn't do anything that impacted the plot at all

What makes this a cult? What is their heresy? What prompted the Night of Knives? We've spent half the book so far with priests and somehow there's been not one notable thing said about religion

Some of the least intrguing intrigue I've ever read

Little over a quarter in and really hoping the next 300-odd pages prove the voice in my head going "this is a three star book" wrong
