I want her to spill her guts about all her trauma to her best friend and girlfriend, Iris. And I like how she cons people (the mayor). I loved it when she stabbed gray cap. And I’m not clear on what exactly she did to Raymond.

I like all the characters here.

(209/359) idk why but this book draws me in. Makes me feel shit. Also Dante just casually wrote to Ari saying he’d rather be kissing boys. And when some heroin addict asshole called Ari gay. Ari replied “‘Yeah, I’m gay and I want to kiss you.’”(pg 205)

(157/359) this book keeps sucking me in. Idk why. I understand a lot of the emotions the characters are going through and it’s very well-written. It makes you think. So I got swept up in the book again and read another 50 pages. Other books are not comparable to this one rn. No wonder it has all the awards. This book is taking my breathe away, the quote on the cover is right.

(127/359) why is this book so good? It’s deep and touching. Also every time I was gonna put the book down there was just this big thing that happened that pulled me back in. BAM 💥 FEVER (I loved the fever dreams and nightmares) BAM 💥 HOSPITALIZED ARI! This book has no reason being this good. I couldn’t even tell u what it’s about. It’s all abstract in a beautiful and humbling way.

(211/283) I like that the math teacher actually taught her some new shit, in this case to show her work and write it out. I don’t like the best friend still, and the birthday bash WILL suck ass for Lucy. I skimmed ahead and it looks like someone will out her as “lightning girl”

(Pg. 168/283) I don’t like the other bitches. I hate the best friend, Windy. She has like a savior complex and pities everything that is somehow suffering. She isn’t trying to help the animals and shit, she’s trying to boost her own ego. I don’t like Maddie or the English teacher, who r dicks to Lucy (the mc) because of her OCD, which she can’t control. Levi & Pi are both slays. The mc is a 6.8/10 🧼 🪑

(Pg 126/283) I read a book about math written in English in Spanish class. Also I like Levi. He’s goofy fun

(110/283) I like the premise. Also the math whiz thing and OCD is #relatable. Even tho Lucy the mc is in the extreme category. I plan for this to be a quick read as just a little goof off. I want the mc to reveal her little lighting and math secret so bad. I’m reading it for that. Also I’m envisioning Levi as Damian from Spy x Family.
