What are your unpopular bookish opinions?

I'll go first. Spice is awful and shouldn't be in any book whatsoever. (At least I think that's an unpopular opinion, sadly)

Other writers: I've been writing stories ever since I learned how to hold a pencil.

Me: I've been writing ever since 7th grade because I took a creative writing class when I thought I hated writing. Turns out I hate academic writing but love creative writing.

I just finished my first romcom yesterday and loved it. Now I want to read more. Do you guys have any recs with little to no swearing and no spice? Pretty much the cleanest romcom ever lol.

I'm not in the mood to read this... But I don't wanna DNF it cuz I still wanna know what happens.

Just read this in my (forensic) science book and wanted to share:

I have a theory! What if Frau Geruscha is actually Lady Salomea? Think abt it. Wilhelm has never met his betrothed and Frau Geruscha got a letter from the Duke of Marienburg around the same time Wilhelm said that Lady Salomea would be coming out of hiding. Plus Frau Geruscha has an education unlike most other woman.
