I've seen lots of people getting hate for what they are posting or what they believe in. There's nothing wrong with stating our beliefs or posting about them in a status update. And there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone. But if you disagree and want to say something about it, do it respectfully and with love. Not with hate.

Since I'm really open about my Faith and I love telling people about it I'd like to tell you guys something to avoid any misunderstandings.

I would never, ever force Catholisism on anybody-- ever. I may preach and try to convince people to come to the Catholic Church, but I would never force anyone to convert because conversion should be a choice.

I wish my book club reading wasn't my priority. I have to finish Kings of Clonmel and Halt's Peril before next book club. I love those books, and I love my book club but there are other books I wanna read. Like Mistborn. Or The Kill Order. Or The Fever Code. *Sigh*

Tazannah wanted to know why Catholics revere the saints so much. We revere the saints because they were extremely holy people when they were here on earth. And we strive to be as holy as them. We don't pray to the saints, but we ask them to pray for us.

Another Emily wanted to know why Catholics are way stricter than other Christians. I'm not sure how to answer this question because I'm not really aware of anything we're super strict about. I mean, we follow the Ten Commandments like other Christians and make sacrifices. Sacrifices as in abstaining from things we enjoy in order to please the Lord and to offer our sufferings up for others to suffer less.

Langston asked if Catholisism is faith or works based. It's both, actually! If it were just faith, an evil person could probably make it to heaven without repentance as long as he believed in God. If it were just works, a person who hates God could probably make it to heaven without repentance if he did good on earth.

Emily asked how Catholics deal with internal sins like lust and hate. As far as I know those are not sins if you try to get rid of those thoughts as quickly as possible. But if you dwell on those sinful thoughts and desires that's a sin.

For example, a man might have difficulties with lustful thoughts. He knows it's bad so when he gets those thoughts, (More in comments)

Isabelle asked what some key differences are between being Catholic and just Christian. First, I'll specify that Catholics are Christians. Second, there are so many different Protestant denominations that are similar and different from Catholicism in different ways so I'm not sure where to start (but I'll try).

As a Catholic I believe that Jesus is truly present, body and soul, in the Eucharist (more in comments).
