I was unable to finish this book before I left for Mexico and I promised myself that everything I read in Mexico would be in Spanish. So far, I have kept that promise so I am not touching this book again until I get back to the United States.

Esto es mi libro favorito en espanol y tambien en ingles! Ahora, puedo entenderlo en espanol! This is my favorite book in Spanish and in English. Now, I can understand it in Spanish!

A very interesting read because large portions of it are written from a 2nd person perspective, but you are not the 2nd person . . . can't wait to read further!

This debut novel is extremely autobiographical and written much like a personal reflective journal.

You do not have to be a perfect Christian to help others perfect their Christianity.

An amazing deep book that is in the process of changing how I think about talking with God. I always thought it was wrong when I just burst out and "explained" myself to God. Now, I can see that this can be a good thing - we are supposed to be constantly "keeping in touch" with God. Though I am not done with this book, I would already recommend it.

I know the word "interesting" does not really give enough information, but it sums up what I think of this book so far.

A friend recently bought this book for me, so I am looking forward to finally finishing it!

"Confrontation is our moral responsibility in every relationship . . . The Bible presents confrontation as one of the cords of a strong relationship." Super convicting! I pray that Christ will help me develop honest Christian relationships instead of shallow friendships dripping with superficial flattery.

I finished Tender is the Night and The Great Gatesby. Now, I am reading through The Last Tycoon. The Last Tycoon is one of Fitztgerald's last and most mature works, but he never fully finished an edited version that pleased him. So far, I love Fitzgerald's succint, crisp style. He creates real characters and sets a complete and live mood for his stories.

So far, I am just reading Tender is the Night. I am hoping all the car time on my road trip will give me a chance to read The Great Gatsby and The Last Tycoon as well.
