DNF. If the word “Mama” is used one more time when addressing the reader, I might puke. Also, it’s written very much from a perspective of evangelical, white privilege. The gender roles are very stereotypical and traditional which doesn’t leave room for families that operate outside of the cisgender norm. It would be nice to read a book about starting traditions without it having such a religious slant.
