Author is much improved when she sends her characters to the island. Less people and less confusion on the pronoun problem, although there are a few odd sentences that made zero sense to the reader. Actions scenes were expertly done though and a strength compared to her exposition scenes. Not sure if it’s enough at this point to get me to read the second and last book. We shall see how I feel at the end.
