There are a lot of characters fighting for freedom in the most brutal way, yet they are criminals who have created violent crimes and it's all filmed live for an audience. A reality prison war of men and women constantly going at it. Well it was a bit exciting & still the killing or preparation for killing is still going on. Yet, I am really tired of new characters being introduced, There's a team to focus on.

This book cover is beautiful, the beginning of the book I immediately loved the writing style, and the characters. I was in. I thought there maybe an epic story to enjoy for almost five hundred pages, well it went nowhere and I kept getting hopeful but I also kept being dropped off into what the heck is this land. I don't like this book, I dreaded picking it up each time yet, trying to like it but I just don't care.

I enjoy this professors writing and YT constitutional law class. This book is so easy and enjoyable to read about how our nation was formed to be democratic and independent of political dynasties, somewhat.

The writing and Almeydita the young woman narrator was so interesting in the beginning and then became a big bore, a bunch of nothingness going on. If they walk to another stream, talk about freedom and who's not free, cassava, witches, witchcraft etc. Without going anywhere...ugh It's starting to feel like a waste of my time.
