Kim is 75% done with Raven's Shadow (Raven, #1)

I'm listening to this on audible, and I find the performance sometimes takes me out of the book. I think the physical copy would be a better way to enjoy this.

It reminds me of the mists of avalon, not at all in relation to plot or tone: it is just full of characters doing things that I wish they wouldn't do but that are totally within character. I have other thoughts but I can't remember how to spoiler tag atm.
