More than most other characters in Author’s novels Phoebe and Paul’s future life together seems like it must be super interesting. I feel their journey echoed in guests at their wedding breakfast. Haha Phoebe totally unaware of just how hillbilly Paul’s side will prove to be.

gothic, richly sensual writing pulled me fast. Believable destiny love between main characters. Side characters are poorly developed and second half of story suffers as a result. Julian and Emma were so hawt in the beginning, then the story chose to focus on Emma’s Ptsd and creepy art.

first clean romance I’ve read in awhile. I appreciate the religious nature of the characters, to include personal prayer. I also enjoyed the interplay of faith and one of the main characters’ blindness. I missed physical romance in the book. Because chemistry between characters was off the charts and writing was sensual.
