Yes im reading another tiktok viral romantasy cause the last book i read to get me outa my slump was this close to burying me deeper.

Reading this during my night shift, im kinda liking the teenagers go on a quest to find their missing amnesic friend turn of event this is taking. Didnt actually expect the author to go that way since this was supposed to be a thriller and not rick riordan coming out of age book, but im not surprised. Still 90% sure of where this plot is going tho, kindly wishing to be shook by a plottwist… please ?

We KnOW mary is lola, and wayne is not daddy, now can we get more shocking elements to the plot please ? We are already 1/3 in the book and we know nothing more than what the synopsis says… atp yk its a flop thriller book when u can start reading from its 100th page and still understand everything thats happening…

Just finished sunrise on the reaping and thought what can i read next to get me out of this depressive state… the most hyped thriller book it is. Im like 15 pourcent in rn and i feel like we are being painted a story were the twist is predictable, just like freida’s perfect son. Like i KNOW whats about to happen but im still anticipating the read about it.

The first book all over again and im absolutely not complaining

Feeling nostalgic

This one feels like its directly out a historical book. And thats what i like about it. The love story is very secondary to me tbh. I dont feel that close to any of the characters.

I mean… the son is a psychopath we get it, can we get to the mystery part now? Im like ninety pourcent sure freida is misleading us to believe liam is the culprit. « all serial killers are psychopaths but not all psychopaths are serial killers » if thats not foreshadowing idk what is.

This book is giving me everything i want : the productive dialogues at the right moment, the post betrayal angst, the fast pace, the redemption arcs for unexpected characters… got myself thinking i wouldnt mind reading a spin off for cresta tbh, or caldon, or ashlyn or anyone really.

When is anything nice ever going to happen to this gurl ?? Im nearing the halfway point and shes been thru attempt rpe more times than shes had a full night of sleep what the actual fuck (wish i was exaggerating).

I was warned and i still took the bait. This book is so painful to read i gotta put my best pokerface reading it in public. And tbh i question if its really worth reading 600 pages of child abuse…

The best pacing in a book ever. I absolutely love this author and her worldbuilding, its so effortless, keeps it interesting and makes u want to know more. Even the dumb political things they tend to put in these kinds of fantasy books that i mostly skim thru. But know that im used to her writing i think she cant surprise me as much, nope im still hooked at every page.

Def feels like a book of its time. The writing is so… different, for the lack of a better word. Too many characters from the get go makes this so hard to stay concentrated tbh i feel like modern books made the process of remembering characters easier and more interesting, deadass dont remember anyones names/job/backstory whatever and ive juST read about it.

The incoming doom is scaring me sm, i dont wanna read more..

Wanted to read this one slowly to take in every advice but its so well written (im a sucker for a good written speech apparently) and so fast paced im fear imma fly thru the pages.

Def not one of her best. The cheating plotlines are boring, kinda disappointed that this is going exactly how i predicted it. Freida you couldve done better than this…

I just know if i read this book when i was in my teenage dystopian era it wouldve made it into my top 5. The angst is angsting in every line. And the writing is so 2011 makes me wanna travel in time so i can experience it then at its peaktime.

I can tell this is about to be my fave fantasy trilogy cause im putting off reading it from the fear of finishing it too fast… also the betrayal/forbidden love arc is about to be EPIC
