The way im 50% in this book and it feels like absolutely nothing happened baffles me. But in a say i want to know more and thats just how good the author is at writing.

The writing is kind of pulling me out of this book, its so raw. Also the story is very slow paced, i cant get attached to the characters and the story is not going anywhere… im kind of regretting buying the audiobook for the first 3 books, idk how im gonna get thru them…

What in the barbe rousse is this??? I mean we all saw it coming but the execution is flawless. And now we are getting ninas pov??? That was actually so much more shocking that andrew being the actual bad guy in all this.

Reading this on a book date with my friend and its absolutely keeping us FED. The tension, the eary energy, the weird dialogues and plot holes, the intense foreshadowing… its screams silence before a storm, and we are LOVING IT

I like it. Reading this book convinced me to get myself a kindle. Dont ask why, it just happened and now im waiting for a lady in spain to send me hers to continue reading this. I like the FC, she is making a lot of good decision and has appropriate reactions, which is satisfying to read.

Not a fun read tbh, feels rushed but also so slow idk how to explain it. We are at the end of the book and so many things happened but it feels like i could synthesize everything in one sentence. It this the curse of the second book?

Compared to the 1st book its really underwhelming. Maybe its the lack of xaden, liam and dain (weirdly enough), maybe its that i dont care about any of the squad members that much, maybe its my hatred towards the higher ups and professors this year, idk but everything seems so boring. Im like violet, we both dying while waiting to have weekly our dose of xaden cause theyre hard carrying this story atp

just realized this was a retelling of antigone, isma as ismene and eamonn as hemon… am i… dumb??

idk how to feel about this book rn. i should have expected this turn of events when the cover described it as « fearless » and « brave » coming from western medias… ig im just kinda sad and disappointed cause i was waiting for identity crisis at some point but i forgot how sensitive i am about specific subjects

So addicting… its 4am and im on vacation but i cant let this book down.

this book is sooooo underwhelming its a real struggle to get through… even tho the story is interesting why do i feel bored 99% of the time?

i think ive put the book down at least 20 times since ive started reading. this aint a good sign… also its really not going in the direction that i thought it would. i actually thoight we would get a more insightful and deep look on trauma of loss but its just a basic dystopian book for now
