This started with a bang due to a fascinating and unusual choice of lead character, but it's starting to wear because of some not-so-fascinating side characters + too much action. But it has time to recover.

Rereading because I miss Fitz dearly. It's so odd to return to this cast when they're so young again after knowing them so well!

Review to come in the next day or two. I really liked this! Definitely in for the full trilogy.

So succinctly he states my truth. I think back to all the books that have frustrated me in years past, and the reason is almost always because I felt lectured at, or bored, or worst of all -- both.

Really fun to read so far and with likable characters. Definitely interested in where this is going.
