kinda like a mix between any other emily henry book and seven husbands of evelyn hugo. can’t put it down !!!

Seems like her usual silly quirky sunshine girl vs. dark and moody guy enemies to lovers trope which I’m kinda eh about. This is pretty classic Emily Henry in both ways that I like and dislike….excited about it tho! Haven’t read a fun book in a while!!

Just kinda feel like this isn’t for me….I agree with like half of it

I didn’t like this after the first 8 or so chapters because I did not like the characters and thought it was going to be like that the whole time. I’m glad I stuck it out! I love a multi-perspective story and especially multi-generational! Excited to keep reading now

Beautifully written - I can’t believe she wrote Horse while going through so much grief. She is amazing!!

Both Geraldine Brooks and Tony Horwitz are fantastic authors whose books I have read, loved, and have stuck with me in the years since I’ve read them (Horse & Confederates in the Attic - highly recommend!!!) this was a funny way to realize they were married!! So far this is devastating but so beautifully done

got a bit slower but still cute!

the book is even better than the play! hard to believe this was written almost 70 years ago because her voice feels so modern! excited to keep reading
