Apart from where you land on Sabbath stuff and the 4th commandment, this book is deeply convicting and encouraging about the Lord’s Day as being the Day of days, the top of the week.

Though a bit technical at times, this seriously is one of the most helpful books so far in seeing the interconnection (and distinctions) between the covenant promises and blessings to Abraham, Moses, and David — the Kingdom of Israel.

As goes the king, so goes the kingdom.

Very informative, very biblical. And is helpful in piecing together the covenant of works in Eden, with the Noahic covenant — and still more to come!

Whitfield’s preaching to tens of thousands with no audio equipment, multiple times a week in the outdoors, is breathtaking.

Enduring tons of city wide ridicule, false accusations, heretical opponents, and being as doctrinally precise — all as a man in his mid 20’s — is simply astonishing.
