it's taking me twice as long to listen to this rather than read it but im half way through knitting a scarf so i dont even care. i like this, but it's still a tad uneventful. it's a little too lengthy for my tastes, but then again I feel like a hypocrite saying that because I honestly do like the backstories. Idk, i'll see how I like it all in the end when the whole book wraps up.

reached my page goal for today but my friend went home early and i don't have any plans until tonight so i'm gonna read more of this. i actually like it so far! sometimes it gets a bit blehblah when it goes into background stories of characters, but as someone who's not the most keen on mysteries, I think this one's setting up nicely.
