Exile - 5/5 this story definitely did something to me. It was the perfect length, the perfect pace and it portrayed emotions and connections in a lovely, hopeful but realistic way.
So far I like the voices that Herman creates and the subtle differences between them

Drink the Dew : 2,75/5, didn't connect much with this one. Flowing writing and a great story but it happened too quickly for me

The Believers - 3,75/5. A really intense story, both mysterious and mundane at the same time. I liked it but the end felt too abrupt for me to fully enjoy it. I think it would have been a good novel

The older gay men that are just so loving and generous and would give it all for the main character ; the teen who does something embarrassing and immediately becomes a meme that turns into an empowering movement 😐🫡
