I have so much appreciation for knowing ahead of time that this is character-driven, not plot driven.
It’s giving Reylo fic, and I’m in stitches that not 10 chapters in we have already had a training montage that lasted LESS THAN A WEEK but showed significant improvement in magic (totally fair. I’ll take it) but also VARIOUS WEAPONRY 😂

I’m looking forward to seeing how this compares to Tempest of Tea (heist) and Wicked Saints (central Europe vibes, but also the one star review that said the Grishaverse did it better and I want to see how wrong they are. Seeing as they liked Poppy War 😖)
