Chapter 15

I was suddenly struck by the fact that the only women our FMC interacts with are either enemies, servants, or her mother. This girl has no female friends and is very much giving “one of the boys”. Nothing horrible about that, but is makes me miss the female friendships in ToG

So… not what I was expecting at all. It’s kind of cool going into this completely blind. Now, just to keep my various mouthy FMCs distinct from each other as I read 2 YA’s at once 😅

This one is not nearly as much in my style as “Walking to the End of the World” was. This one is making me relive all the uncomfortable interpersonal feelings with a liberal dash of annoying agnosticism as accompaniment
