My sister has told me for YEARS that I have to read this book. I have an actual copy on my bookshelf. But I have never had the energy to pick it up. Well, now that I'm in this audiobook zone I figure this is my chance. Thank you Libby and my local libraries for providing the means 🖤

I do like this story, but man, Shorty sure likes to hear himself talk. He's a little long-winded.

Really enjoying this one. The narrator is 💯

Really not a fan of Rosalee at the moment.

Now we're on our 3rd POV. First Quinn, then Claudia, now Rosalee. Not necessarily my favorite way to tell a story, but we'll see...

Next audiobook up :) These Freida McFadden books have been like popcorn.

Listening to the audio. This is one that is harder to listen to when working as there are multiple POVs, making it a little harder to follow when you aren't paying 100% attention.

What does Sylvia think will happen if she finds Mac? Does she think it will make everything with Adam okay? Like swapsies? It just feels gross and very self-serving.

Y'all, this book is really pissing me off. Sylvia is just so....ugh. I mean, that's probably the point, but still. I just want to smack some people.

Ugh. I'm not loving this. I'm waiting for this to blow up. It needs to.

Is she hearing herself? Man, Adam is such a douche. And Sylvia sitting here reading it like, "Adam is just the dreamiest" and "I'm sure Adam had a good reason." Are we even reading the same book??

Sylvia seems like a terrible caregiver. Just saying.

There was no turning back. There was no path that led anywhere except down a long road as dark as your first night in hell and paved all along the way with bad intentions. They could call what they were seeking justice, but that didn't make it true. It was unquenchable, implacable vengeance.

Just because someone says your married boss is hot doesn't mean they think you should go for it. This felt very contrived.

When they say in the book, "This seems too good to be true" methinks they are probably correct.

I'm having a hard time with Adrienne. Are we supposed to empathize with her?

Off to a good start. I've been in the mood for some violence lol.
