I bought this book on impulse because of its pretty cover. Beyond that, there’s really nothing of substance in this book. The writing is all over the place and the storytelling is terrible. I won’t fault the characters for being overly judgmental, but they are too painfully insufferable and wishy-washy for my liking.

Guess I will just keep this book because of its cover then.

Emilyn is 80% done with Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking, #3)

Currently at the final quarter of this fascinating trilogy. It has thrown me into a state of physical and emotional depletion (plus sleep deprivation). There is never a bored moment, the characters and plot, they feel so raw and real, how wars make monsters out of men and yet in times of crisis love keeps us strong, leads us to the right path. But I have this looming premonition that the ending is...well...
