Loving it so far, struggles with acquisition of various worldly knowledge, recognition of a more developed melancholy that feels inherent in the narrator. The themes that so far have emerged just really speak to me and the prose is quite great, as I feel frequently engaged. Suspicion of the isolated nature of science is also just muahhh.

Pretty good so far, relevant themes of individual people who affect great change within their world but in much darker ways than they hope as a fatalistic binding looms.

Can I finish this tonight? Stoker’s prose is definitely making it a challenge

Not my edition; Great so far, def a little too much writing, but when Stoker wants to evoke terror, darkness and light he does it masterfully.

Pretty good so far, very funny and while I’m sure Shakespeare just made an almost proto-dramedy that entertained and had broad appeal, it’s aged quite interestingly. Rampant capitalists throwing money around, mark of the beast shit, and a stone cold princess who just embarrasses everyone she’s talked to so far. I’ll see how it finishes but I’m liking it more than I thought I would, never been a Shake guy
