This feels like a fever dream. I just finished a part where a assassin cat beat up some trees because they were taunting him. I don’t even know anymore.

I. Hate. This. Book. The writing style is so jarring, with barely any descriptors or thoughts. It’s one action after another, and not even well written action either! It feels like wadding through the ocean and then having somebody push you into it when you aren’t looking. “Without realizing it, she walked away from the soldiers”. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
