I am in Rome for the first time in my life! It’s amazing and I am continually fascinated by the things I see! No joke I actually started giggling when I saw the Pantheon irl haha

Imagine having a long political career, scheming and murdering to become emperor, only to find out within days that you hate being emperor and that you can’t take the burden of ruling… Then Rome gets sacked during your reign by the Vandals. Happy that’s not me!

The story of Pompeii and Herculaneum is terrifying to read about! I admire Pliny a lot for his pursuit of knowledge

While the cold weather stops me from going on one of my famous outside reading sessions, I have recently found the joy of going to a café by myself and read there for some time. Highly recommended!
