I’m afraid I won’t finish this before heading to Greece. At least I’ll try to read the chapter on the islands that I will most likely visit when I’m there :))

Absolutely lovely book so far! Also really surprised about the theme of abortion coming up. I’m kinda scared though, since this book was never finished and I feel it will end abruptly :(

I just got a coin that was minted while Alexander the Great was alive!!! How cool is that??!!

Ahhh, reading a book by Zweig with noise cancelling headphones while listening to a waltz from Johann Strauss II and drinking a good cappuccino is the life!!

The fact that the city of Tyre used to be an island, but is a peninsula now because Alexander conquered it by building a mole is crazy!

Ahhh I love reading about Alexander’s escapades in India, so exciting!! The interactions between two wildly different cultures, the ancient cities, the battles with elephants, the pouring rain, so cool!

Can you believe I haven’t read a book on ancient history in almost half a year??!! I gotta go back to my roots and read more ancient things again!
