Awh. That was actually really sweet! I’ve gone from not being super interested in Laia’s sections to actually looking forward to them!

I REALLY like Elias! His sections have definitely been my favorite thus far.

Literally every time we get to an Elias chapter, I just get so excited! Really enjoying this so far!

Parts of this are starting to frustrate me. Namely, Evan. Why dude.

The biggest mystery to me is still Vosch. Every time I think I understand what's happening, I realize that I don't actually know anything at all. Which must be how they all feel in the book!

Wow, I ended up enjoying that a lot more than I thought! Ringer's section was actually my favorite, and I'm SO interested to see how this wraps up! Also pretty upset about certain things towards the end, but that's how it's supposed to happen when you get invested in the characters. Very interested in how this ends.

Ugh the next 100 pages are Ringer's POV and I found her section so hard to follow.

This is not a glamorous story that's for sure. This actually sounds like how the end of the world really could be.

I'm so intrigued by this story. I just want to know more!

This is like when a friend gets mad at you growing up when you feel that you did nothing to merit their feelings of hatred toward you, and you feel equally mad at them for treating you badly when you feel that they were in the wrong. It’s awful.

I think my biggest difficulty with this book is understanding how everything with The Others works. This book is helping but I’m still a little confused.

Well that was unexpected.

I’m following this narrator a bit better and I’m less distracted. But I wish I remembered some of the details about the process of the aliens invading the humans from the first book. I read that 3 years ago so I can’t remember anything.

I’m having trouble following this. Idk if I’m too distracted or if I just can’t follow this narrator’s style of narrating. Rick Yancey’s writing is definitely a higher reading level than Bloodlines for example, so it takes me longer to read and I have to reread sentences frequently to understand the message. But I’m still super interested and I loved the first one, so I’m very excited to see where this series goes!
