My english and literature teacher is so cool like she literally named her son after Sebastian from Reign and her daughter after Annabeth from PJO. Like if she’s not the coolest teacher-

Idek the first thing abt this book series, but I feel like everyone else has read it but me, and then my friend is obsessed with it, so I’m finally reading it.

First day of freshman year went well. My english teacher has so many good books and newer ones that we would actually want to read. Plus, with most of her classes being honors, AP, and college english for our local university, the books are in good shape.

I had a bad headache all day that got worse as I got more exhausted, then realized my notebooks I bought were wide ruled. That sucks.

I was at orientation just now and heard a group of girls talking about how hot Percy Jackson was in The Lightning Thief, as if they’re not 2-4 years older than him and are literally sexualizing a 12 year old fictional character. Then they’re all like “omg I’m such a big fan of the series” when they didn’t even read the other books, they just read the one for summer reading. 😭 it hurts

not abt books, but i’m stuck in an art class with my toxic ex who would sexually harass me. Plus a ton of sophomores (as well as my ex) who all vape, do drugs, smoke weed, nearly overdose at school, get into fights, disrupts class, and are in general terrible. Like, they had to have pat downs at least twice a month last year bc of these kids. Unfortunately, I cannot switch out of the class.

At this point I cry anytime I read a book past the 20% mark…

Uhm, let’s just say that I didn’t spend four hours altering between reading this, sobbing, trying to quiet my sobs, and drink coffee to keep me from utter pain an chaos.

likeee, I could not stop crying, and I can’t even explain why. But my hatred towards a certain character has grown immensely.

i held off rereading this long enough. i would’ve reread it immediately after finishing it, but unfortunately i had other things to do.
but not now. so, now i can enjoy the last few days of summer break, at least before orientation.

Finally got my schedule for freshman year. I can tell I won’t have time for reading😭. I’m not prepared for this, and I have algebra first period. I suck at math anyways, but they put it as an honors class.
I only thought I had one. This completely throws my reading goals for the rest of the year off. Ugh

not me promising my friend that I’m only going to be on wattpad to read Ezra bc it’s academic rivals in music, he plays violin, the aesthetic is amazing, and the characters are amazing. and then all the comments are talking about other wattpad books, so yk I have to go read those.
she’s gonna kill me. 😂

but seriously go check this book out it is so good.

On chapter four. I’m not gonna even attempt to figure out how to turn a wattpad book into a book w/ pages for goodreads. so, the “page number” is just which chapter. there. whatever.
