Wow, this book is really, really good.

Reading this one with the two older maniacs.

Good book. Longer than I realized at first.

It's really interesting to read President Obama's views on the war in Afghanistan in light of what is happening right now.

Book is getting so good

This book is a novel of manners plus small bits of magic performed by a grumpy, disagreeable, miser of a magician named Mr. Norrell. His great sin, as far as I can tell, is that he's amassed a massive library of books in order that others may not borrow them. He's an anti-library! And that is a dark mark upon the soul.

On track to finish by election day!

I'm going to try to finish this book by election day- an ode to our desire to be a democracy. I gotta read 35 pages a day to make it.

Funny, smart, detailed look at those old Greeks and their ideas.

Slow progress, but this is a good one.
